The four tracks featured on this EP were recorded on January 11th 1985 and are alternative studio recordings completed prior to the final sessions for the First And Last And Always album.
"The Last Magician of Rational Thought" is the fourth Palazzograssi Production. The first was "Silence Is Platinum", a limited edition of 1000 boxed sets, each consisting of two 7" EPs, the actual concert poster, a numbered inlay card and a gig review. The second was "Victims Of Circumstance", an EP limited to 1500 individually numbered copies. The third, an LP and Discography, "Reverberation Across The Nation", has been postponed and will now be released around Christmas 1988.
"The Last Magician of Rational Thought" has been limited to 1526 copies, 1500 of which are individually numbered. Twenty six copies lettered A-Z, which come in a gatefold sleeve, have been reserved for private distribution.
