Psychedelic Furs

The Psychedelic Furs are an English rock band, founded in 1977.

In the early 1980ies The Sisters Of Mercy played the following (at the minimum and possibly more) support acts with The Furs:

• Monday, October 4th 1982 at the Sherry's in Brighton

• Wednesday, October 6th 1982 at York University

• Thursday, October 7th 1982 at the Hacienda in Manchester

• Saturday, October 9th 1982 at Leicester Polytechnic

There is not all that much known even about these gigs, so any further information or pictures of tickets, handouts etc, should be very welcome.

However, apart from these support acts, Psychedelic Furs guitarist John Ashton recorded various early demos for The Sisters of Mercy in 1982

and was also involved in the production and recording process for Alice 7" single and Alice EP.
