Comfortably Numb was originally released by Pink Floyd and formed part of their monumental album The Wall.

The track was part of The Sisters of Mercy's live set during 1992/93 and 1997/98 and was first performed on 13 June 1993 at GoBang Festival Berlin.

After a long time and for the last time it was played again on 3 March 2001 at the Colosseum, Munich, Germany during The Sisters' Exxile On Euphoria Tour.

The Sisters always performed the song in a sequence with Some Kind Of Stranger.

Hello
Is there anybody in there?
Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone at home?

Come on
I hear you're feeling, bad
I can ease your pain
If you only feed it here

Relax
I need some information, first
Just the basic facts
Can you tell me where it hurts?

There is no pain you are receiving
The distant ships move on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child, I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons
And now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain, you would not understand
This is not how I am
And I have become, comfortably numb

And I have become, comfortably numb

Okay
Just a little thumb prick
You feel the one
But you may feel the lipstick

Can you stand up
I do believe it's working, good
That'll keep you coming through the show
Come on it's time to go

There is no pain you are receiving
The distant ships move on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move, but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child, I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eyes
I turned to look but it was gone
I can not put my finger on it now
The child's gone, the dream is gone
And I have become, comfortably numb

And I have become, comfortably numb
