Land Of The Kings

In fact, the first edition appeared in 2014 in online auctions and was delivered from Australia.
Since then some "test pressings" limited to 10 copies have "surfaced"
and various further editions have been issued ...

- The tracks featured on this LP were recorded live at Vikateatret, Oslo, Norway on May 16th, 1985.
- The recording is incomplete, although, it is not known to-date which songs were further played during that gig, (if any).
Cover Art
- The cover art picture consists of a tone separation from a press photo of Andrew Eldritch,
- originally used for an article titled Careless Whispers in Melody Maker, Issue of 16 March 1985
- The cover art notes:
- - TUNE IN TURN ON BURN OUT (altough the tour of that name had been the previous one) and
- - NASU DENGAKU MUSIC TOKYO JAPAN LIMITED (supporting the alleged Japanese origin)
Basic Release Notes
- remarkably, Land Of The Kings is the only release from this label
- Catalogue#: - none given, runouts only

- Released: ongoing since 2014 (allegedly 2013)

- without any real protecting sleeve

First Edition

Notes
- The cover is either a fully white or a fully black standard one without any print and comes with a black and white square paper sheet giving the band name, the track list,
- the place and date of the recording, the theme TUNE IN TURN ON BURN OUT and the label as NASU DENGAKU MUSIC TOKYO JAPAN LIMITED
- The vinyls run at 33 ⅓ rpm and have all plain white labels.
- Runouts: SOMLOK
First Issues
These appeared in the following order and colours:
- White vinyls with white cover and b/w insert were the very first to appear (early 2014).
- They soon were followed by amounts of orange, purple and later also red vinyls.
- Especially the red vinyls seemed to be clear red rather than opaque.
- Apart from these, grey marbled vinyls appeared, but more rarely and partly from the US.
- Anyway, the basic white cover colour would soon (by around April 2014) change to black and
- white, orange, purple and red vinyls were henceforth sold in black cover with b/w insert.
- Here too, some exceptional issues appeared (possibly from the US) like the black vinyl and the black and purple vinyl shown below.
Second Issue
From 2015 on, these more or less provisional covers were replaced by fully printed glossy covers.
- The white background of the cover front now shows a b/w print of the Eldritch-face motive, a large head-and-star logo as well as the band name and the bootleg title.
- The track list, the place and date of the recording, the theme TUNE IN TURN ON BURN OUT and the label named NASU DENGAKU MUSIC TOKYO JAPAN LIMITED are printed in white colour on the otherwise fully black back of the cover.
- The info sheets, that formerly been applied to the cover and functioned as front cover were kept as an addition.
- The vinyl colours remained the same as before: white, orange, purple, red and grey.
- Sets with all four standard vinyl colours (white, organge, purple, red) appeared.
