Royal Albert Hall, London, England
- This is the legendary gig commonly known as "Wake", a name given to it by Andrew Eldritch personally,
- no less than four months before it happened. Before the gig Andrew bruised his ribs so he was unable to
- move much, but nevertheless he gave an astonishing performance.
- Originally advertised in the UK music press as "Altamont - A festival of remembrance".
- The support was a screening of "Koyaanisqatsi" and an organist playing such tracks as "Freebird".
Several bootleg recordings of this show exist, see Live Bootlegs - First And Last And Always era.
In addition, several Video Bootlegs are circulating like Live From The Royal Albert Hall - Floorshow
and Wake - In Concert At The Royal Albert Hall.
The latter is, however a bootleg not to be mixed up with any official release of Wake,
None of these do, however, include all the songs played at the event.
