Revision as of 03:36, 4 March 2016
This is the first issue of a bootleg series consisting of two singles released on the Portuguese bootleg label Pan-Vox Records.
Not to be confused with the legendary Greek label of the same name as even the logo looks identical.
One major difference is that catalogue#s always start with "PV" for the present label, and often with "PAN" for the Greek one.
The Portuguese Pan-Vox series features demos, livecuts and official songs of the very early days.
The second of Pan-Vox Records' Sisters releases is GOOD THINGS Plus 2 live songs.
Release Notes
- Label: Pan-Vox Records
- Format: 7" single
- Catalogue#: PV 1615
- Place of Release: Lisboa, Portugal
- Release Date(s): unknown.
NOTE: According to Discogs the Pan-Vox item PV1616, a Softcell bootleg, was released in 1983.
As Damage Done PLUS 3 has catalogue# PV1615 and Good Things PLUS 2 has PV1617 it seems clear
that both of them were also released in 1983 or - as to the present single - even earlier.
Remarks
- Runs at 33 ⅓ RPM
- Many of the vinyls have a large centerhole, but not all of them.
- Folded paper covers
- The first release came with a white background of the cover and with plain white labels.
- Following releases were blue, red and - at last - yellow and have Pan-Vox labels.
- The shades of each colour seem to vary.
Sources
- Track A1 is identical with the original version from The Damage Done (single).
- Tracks A2 - B2 were recorded on 04.05.1981 at St.Johns/Warehouse in Leeds
- and might have been taken from the Gary Marx Demo Tape
For price developments over the years, please see sistersbootlegs/damagedoneplus
Track List
- A1 - The Damage Done
- A2 - Watch (song)
- B1 - Teachers
