The Sisters of Mercy played their so far unknown second gig - and the first concert ever in their hometown of Leeds - as support act
with the Reluctant Stereotypes including among others singer Paul King, who years later became a well-known MTV-video jockey.
Other performers at the event were Keeping Dark, according to Discogs, the rhythm section of the Yorkshire power pop band Just Frank.
Steve Smith, bass player in both sets, would later that year become one of the founding members of the Leeds-based post-punk ensemble Red Lorry Yellow Lorry.
Steve Smith is also known for guitars and backing vocals on the Ghost Dance single Heart Full Of Soul.
In 1985, another founding member of Red Lorry Yellow Lorry, drummer Mick Brown, would join Wayne Hussey and Craig Adams to form The Mission.
