Snowdriver is an instrumental demo of Driven Like The Snow recorded by Andrew Eldritch

in 1986 among others for The Sisters of Mercy's second studio album Floodland.

These recordings are often referred to as the Portastudio or Floodland Demo (1986).

Snowdriver has surfaced later on various Studio Bootlegs such as the 12" Collection and the 7" And 12" Collection,

Acoustics From The Beehive or Kill The Lights, where it is titled Driven Like The Snow. The latter bootleg

does also take its title from a line of the lyrics of Driven Like The Snow.

However, this instrumental demo mix does not have very much in common with the actual song ...
