During the worldwide "zombie apocalypse" coronavirus lockdowns, which
ended The Sisters of Mercy's Europe Spring Tour of 2020 after only four
UK-dates, the band turned to writing further new songs instead of touring.
On April 25th, 2020, five new titles were added to the list of upcoming
new songs on the official Live News Page followed the next day
by the lyrics to Eyes Of Caligula, which had been announced already
in the run-up to The Sisters 2020 Europe Spring Tour, as well as the
lyrics to Six Ways To Sunday.
Eyes Of Caligula was first performed live at the ROXY in Ulm, Germany
on 23 April 2022 already again the next day @Salzhaus, Winterthur, CH.
