Text of Promotion Sheet

JAMES RAY & THE PERFORMANCE release DUST BOAT, their first single in more than two years, on Monday November 6th.
The title track, produced by HUGH JONES, is backed by A NEW KIND OF ASSASSIN and a live recording of SOUTHERN
WHITE KNIGHT. All songs are written by the group.
Issued as a 12" only 45, DUST BOAT is a MERCIFUL RELEASE.
Asked why it had taken so long to produce a sequel to 1987's indie-dance hit TEXAS JAMES RAY muttered something about
all-day pub opening affecting Merciful Release's operating hours: No-one at the label was available to comment!

Personnel are:
JAMES RAY - vocals with menace
CARL HARRISON - keyboards and rat noises
