Remarks
- Great sound quality
- A limited edtion of 200 copies in total
- The single comes in a hand-numbered cover with a folded white cardboard inner sleeve
- The back cover gives the lyrics to Lucretia, My Reflection in English and Japanese language
- In fact, this is a German release. The title on the cover front and the Lucretia lyrics
on the back cover in Japanese characters are rather meant to impress potential customers of various sorts...
- The same accounts for all the Merciful Release and WEA logos. Although the artwork of present release
reminds strongly of the Dominion single, this is a rare, but not an official release!
- Available on medium blue and light blue vinyl, while colours of both versions vary slightly as well.
- The label on side A shows a picture detail from an unknown painting in levels of grey
- The label on side B states track A (Lucretia) as Empire Down and track B (Flood I) as Water
- Some testpressings and acetats do exist, see down below ...
Regular Vinyl Colours
The actual colour of the medium blue vinyl is hard to get in a photo.
Insofar you find here - as an indicator - a comparison with the Remasters Sampler.

1. Testpressings
- Only three copies of the testpressings shown above do exist.
- One of them does not have a cover. The other two have fold-out covers.
- The cover of the other two differs remarkably from the final Floodland Demos 7" cover.
- Due to the artwork, these items are also referred to as Flood 4 and Empire Down.
- Again, these are alledgedly a Merciful Release
(according to the logo and print), but of course they are not.
- The tracks are the same as on the above Floodland Demos 7",
though in reverse order and with partly different song titles:
- Side A - Flood I is noted as Empire Down
- Side B - Lucretia, My Reflection is noted as Lucretia 2
- Black vinyl with white labels marked with some lines
consisting of the letter "P" in turns with the equals sign ("=")
- Matrix #s are identical with those of the above Floodland Demos 7":
- Side A: WASTED BUCHS 08/15 /A et
- Side B: WASTED BUCHS 08/15 /B et
2. Acetates
- Some 15 acetates (7") do allegedly exist, but only 6 - 8 have surfaced so far.
- They are one-sided and feature only the song Lucretia, My Reflection
- All of them are accompanied by an insert
- Please click into pictures for larger views. -
