I was born in Doncaster, South Yorkshire in 1973. I went to school in the village of Askern during the Miners' Strike. Went to London to get a Physics degree and didn't leave for 25 years. I'm a professional software writer, specialising in low-latency trading systems within the financial services industry. I now live outside of Abingdon, near Oxford.
