UPDATE
Yesterday, 18 December 2014, Chris has lost his long battle with cancer.
This is very sad news for us and we hope that through his campaign for another album and his music
he found some joy and relief over the past months.
Out thoughts are with him and his family and his friends. R.I.P., Chris ... :-(( ...
NOTIFICATION
as of 07/07/2013:
Chris has Stage 4 metastatic nodular melanoma (skin cancer) and wants to make one last album.
he has put together a fundraiser for it. There he writes:
I can't justify any of my limited income to be spent on my own non-profit activities. Stage 4 metastatic nodular melanoma. Clinical trials and palliative treatment only. Wife terminally ill. Dozens of rescue animals. I don't own a computer anymore and would like a good laptop and software to see what comes out. I will not divert money from my family for selfish artistic urges. Maybe someone who enjoyed a starlings record at sometime is flush. The closest I've been is flushed. Anyway if no one helps I'm off the hook so nothing to lose. Ta Chris.

Now have all the stuff needed to make an album although Coldplay would turn in their grave at the idea! I would like to do a minimum run of hardcover booklets and buy a Canon 5D to make a film and take photos (about 2800 €), a Canon 5D does both. Again, thank you for supporting the purchase of the recording kit. If you have donated please don´t donate again, you have already sponsored the time it will take to make the album. All my music is available for free, it´s my time that your donations free up. Like an old fashioned honesty box, if you like a song donate towards it´s existence and the existence of new ones. Yes that´s my head, tumour free yay!

STORY UPDATE
Chris writes:
I'm so pleased that the goal was met so quickly! People are writing and asking if they can still contribute. Yes. I'm already thinking to make a book to go with the downloads documenting the process. Also I plan to keep recording beyond a set number of songs and any money raised gives me more time to spend on recording/writing and of course on the ever growing collection of waifs, strays and pensioner critters. So the fundrazr stays open. Thanks again Chris
