After their first visit to Santiago at the end of their Latin America travels in 2016,
The Sisters of Mercy were heading to Blondie in 2019 for their National Treasure Tour again.
Support act were meant to be The Secret Society.
Unfortunately, this concert had to be cancelled due to the situation in the country at the time.
The Sisters of Mercy's Live News page read:
It's not possible to guarantee the safety of the audience,
crew or band at a time of such extreme and increasing
unrest in the immediate vicinity of the concert hall.
We're very sorry.
