Bootlegs
From SistersWiki.org - The Sisters Of Mercy Fan Wiki
It's been claimed that the Sisters were one of the most bootlegged bands of the Eighties.
This would be a comprehensive list of all their bootlegs .... unfortunately, it is not, eh, not yet ....
Bootlegs you do not find here, may be listed on
sistersbootlegs
or very comprehensively on The Sisters of Mercy Ultimate Resource Guide
Mind:
- Nowadays, as there is the internet and portable recording technology available to everyone, many concerts are captured by the audience with audio and video recorders. The results are then spread and exchanged among the fan base for free, often very good CD or DVD productions which entail much more work than simply a take from the respective gig (hard enough to achieve at times).
- Some bootlegs sold, for example on Ebay, might be based on one of these audience recordings which were never intended to go on sale. Those we have been able to detect so far can, apart from the lists below, be found under Audience Recordings.
- If you should be aware of any bootleg to be an audience recording and not yet catagorised as such, please do not hesitate to inform us in the above 'discussion' site.
