The Sisters of Mercy - Quantum Baby @Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre - first full video of the new soong
The Sisters of Mercy of 2020 - v.l.: Ben C., Andrew E., Ravey D., Dylan S.

When the world got hit by the "zombie apocalypse"
coronavirus crisis which also ended The Sisters spring tour
of 2020 in March already, the band embarked on writing
further new songs for the coming new world order.

Quantum Baby is one of them. In April 2020, the title
appeared on The Sisters official Live News Page
together with the titles of four other new tracks.

The song is credited to (Christo/Eldritch/Smith).

It got first performed live on October 3rd, 2024
at The Van Buren, Phoenix, Arizona, USA during
the Sisters Scar The Planet Edge Tour of North
America and Canada.

At first, only a snippet could be found, but the next day in San Diego the full song was captured on video.

Lyrics

- not confirmed -

I know I loved you like I loved you yesterday
I don't know you, I believe you anyway
We're entangled, but it's several ways away
You're a little bit quantum, baby, but hey

The Sisters of Mercy, @The Greek Theatre, Los Angeles, USA, 06 October 2024 - Quantum Baby

We have the lonely harbour of a thousand suns
And one and one is only one
Fade into the one

We are this, but we are not
I heard I miss what we have got
We are made of stardust, I bear the scars
We are made of stars

We have the lonely harbour of a thousand suns
And one and one is only one
Fade into the one

Fade into the one

We have the lonely harbour of a thousand suns
And one and one is only one
Fade into the one

Fade into the one
