During the UK concerts of the 2020 Spring Tour,
The Sisters of Mercy presented a series
of new songs to the crowds.
I Will Call You was the third one of them and got
performed live for the first time on 08 March 2020
at the O2 Academy, Bristol.
Thanks to our lovely supporter MrBlonde on the ground, the debut performance of this new song is available here. In his channels you might find more great treasures.
Lyrics
- still unknown, but some attempts at the lyrics are being made here @The Heartland Forums. These are the current results:
We're at an intersection
We're on the way
There's a road out there.
All guns, all day.
I will call you a rocketship.
I will call you from afar.
There's a room on a road out there.
I will call you a car.
music fade out / music fade in
It's all about the jacknife
I don't remember your name
Truck stop, don't drop
I won't remember the shame.
I will call you a rocketship.
I will call you from afar.
There's a room on a road out there.
I will call you a car.
You're a Buick
Silver lined
Some kind of Oldsmobile
Silver lined
I will call you a rocketship.
I will call you from afar.
There's a room on a road out there.
I will call you a car.
