The Speed Kings are a Sisters covers-band .
Shortly before the tour start of The Sisters of Mercy's Tour Thing I in 1990,
they played two concerts in Ireland at Boxing Club, Drogheda and Sir Henry's on Cork.
Any resemblance with the real band is - of course - purely coincidental.
Some bootlegs of their Drogheda-performance do however exist,
see Speed Kings Live 90 and Speed Kings 1990.
