Hello.

How do I get rid of the "contents" square?

Robertundbobi

@Robertundbobi ... first of all WOW !!! That looks great!!! ... :-))) ...

The contents square comes up automatically as soon as there are more than three headlines.

And usually it turns up on the left side - mostly disturbing. I've written a short thing that

 • makes it appear on the right side and
 • you can put wherever on the page you please

It looks like this:   {{TOC_right}}

If you don't want any contents box at all use:   __NOTOC__   on top of the page.

BUT, contents boxes can be useful to find certain editions in long pages without scrolling

ALSO - one can avoid headlines to appear in the boxes and the contents boxes themselves
(keeping the number of real headlines below 3) by creating headlines in a different way:

 • TEXT of HEADLINE
 • plus ---- which underlines the header

I've often used that for the "Band/Line-up" headlines in the individual concert pages to avoid content boxes.

The disadvantage is that one cannot link to those headlines directly like [[Thu, 10-Aug-2017#Band_/_Line-up|Line-up]] - Line-up will only get you to the general page ...

while it does work with [[Thu, 10-Aug-2017#Setlist|Setlist]] - Setlist gets you directly to the setlist on that page.

Hell, that was quite a lecture ... ;-))) ... And if you check this page under "edit", you will also learn about the function of "nowiki" ...

Cheers, and again - great job you've been doing here !!!
