After a series of eight great concerts in Germany, France and Spain with their new guitarist [https://www.discogs.com/de/artist/2731858-Esprit-DAir?anv=Kai&filter_anv=1&opt=GxmG Kai&nbsp;], The Sisters of Mercy and their support band [https://www.thevirginmarys.com/ The Virginmarys] arrived in Lisbon for the first of two shows in Portugal.<br/>

This show, however, had to be cancelled, because Andrew Eldritch was not feeling well and had to be brought into hospital. Nothing much is known about the circumstances as yet.
