"The Triple Album Collection" is another edition series by Warner Music (part of Warner Music Group) compiled from the back catalogue of artists (formerly) under their contract or under contract with one of the labels they swollowed over the years. The series started in 2011 and has meanwhile produced more than 40 releases.
The present release shows, that not much effort is put into the design of the coverart here, or into the packaging in general. The three CDs are stored in individual slipcases that fit hardly into the holding case. Miniatures of the three albums are shown in three of the four quarters of the front case format. The last quarter is left to the band name and the album list and a 3CD mark. On the present release the definite article from The Sisters of Mercy is missing on the front cover of the case, while the layout on the back of the case is an adapted copy from the 5CD "Original Album Series".
