Announcement for the "Helter Skelter" Festivals in 1996
According to Wikipedia, The Sex Pistols were
"an English punk rock band that formed in London in 1975. They were responsible for initiating the punk movement in the United Kingdom and inspiring many later punk and alternative rock musicians."

The band broke up in 1978 after having released only one studio album and four singles.

In 1996, The Sex Pistols re-united for a six-month tour titled Filthy Lucre, which included dates

in Europe, North and South America, Australia and Japan. The German leg of that tour consisted

of several "Helter Skelter" festival slots, where they shared the stage with The Sisters of Mercy.

On part of The Sisters, these festival gigs were part of a tour called Roadkill 1996 and came

after two years of relative silence without any gigs during 1994 and 1995.

For a little more information about the above mentioned tour see Roadkill 1996

and also SistersTours/1996.
