The final gig of The Sisters of Mercy's First US-Tour, where The Sisters were opening the show for True West,
who would a few weeks later do the support act for The Sisters at I-Beam in San Francisco.
This second September show at Danceteria was the last concert with Ben Gunn ... and even though it does not refer to the latter fact,
there is a very lovely and entertaining entry titled Danceteria, New York, Saturday September 17th 1983 in the
I Was A Teenage Sisters of Mercy Fan blog about this gig and its surroundings in general, that you shouldn't miss reading.
