Live At Kir-Club - Cover (front)

A 12" vinyl bootleg, recorded live during the Trans-Europe Excess Tour in 1983.

At that time - only few months before the release of the acutal Temple Of Love single - The Sisters Of Mercy occasionally performed this song during their gigs, though, not at every concert. Later Temple Of Love was hardly heard live at their concerts for a long time until the Tour Thing 1 the early 1990ies.

Including one of these versions to a bootleg, was therefore always an enormous enrichment for the product; and examples like The Lights Shine Clear Through The Sodium Haze, Through The Years, Tender Mercies, Possession or the ECHOES VOL 1 7" single confirm this evidence, as they were much sought-after already from the day of their release.

Although Side B of this bootleg has a very short, even disappointing, running time, Side A is - in conclusion - a very interesting collection of songs, especially for the presence of the aforementioned Temple Of Love track.
