Live At Kir-Club - Cover (front)

Recorded live during the Trans-Europe Excess tour in 1983.

At that time - only few months before the release of the single Temple Of Love - The Sisters Of Mercy were performing this song on some of their gigs; not at every concert, but at least at some. Later Temple Of Love was hardly heard on their concerts, not until the Tour Thing 1 in the early 90ies.

To have one of these versions featured on a bootleg, were always a plain enrichment for the product and examples such as The Lights Shine Clear Through The Sodium Haze, Through The Years, Possession or ECHOES VOL 1 were already sought-after from the day of their release.

Concluding, although Side B has a very short, even disappointing, running time, Side A is a very interesting collection of songs, especially for the presence of the before mentioned Temple Of Love.
