Part of The Sisters' Summer Festival Tour in 2019 and the third concert of that series.
About the festival
Picture On takes place each year since 2000 in Bildein (Burgenland), Austria. The two-day festival
is deliberately kept familiar and allows for an audience of 2,500 visitors, only. By tradition it presents
a remarkable mixture of musical styles reaching this year from rock to crossover, dub, hip-hop,
drum'n bass to electronic pop, indie, vernacular rock and various further exciting experiments
fully confirming the organisers' motto: We love musical diversity.
This year, The Sisters of Mercy were invited to play on the first day of this wonderful event.
As the festival allows for a relatively small audience of about 2,500 only, it was rather soon sold out.
The Sisters' performance was scheduled for 22:05–23:35 in the evening.
Other acts on that day included the Suricates, Romano Drom, LEYYA,
Manfred Mann's Earth Band and The Locos.
