Lyrics

35 Thousand Times

Best of James Ray's Performance and Gangwar
- Cover art originally from A New Kind Of Assassin -

I'm waiting for my future man
I know he's going to show me good times
I'm walking with the negroes man
I love his silly lies

I have my fortune car
I own a million dreams
My future man seems
Ain't quite what I dreamed

I love the way he talks
I hate the way he walks
I told you 35 thousand time to get out of here
I ain't gonna pay for your stupid idea
But it's OK now cos I'm burning like a devi
l OK now cos I'm living up my dreams

I'm sitting on the edge of my time
All stupid and wasting my time
I've walked with the worst of men
and I think I'll go there again

I sold my fortune car
I dreamt my final dream
My future man seems
He's exactly what I need

But it's OK now cos I'm burning like a devil
OK now cos I'm fucking up my dreams

I'm waiting for my future man
I know he's going to show me good times
I'm walking with the negroes man
I love his silly lies

But it's OK now cos I'm burning like a devil
But it's OK now cos I'm living up my dreams
